Today in class w talked about our roots. We learned the difference between race, nationality, and ethnicity. We also read a poem by Langston Hughes called “The Negro Speaks of Rivers”. It described that Africa was the start off all humanity. That no matter what people will say the the Black race is worthy of being seen, heard, and treated equally.
